HIGHLINE CANAL

Stewards of the Canal

Our mission is to preserve, protect and enhance the 71-mile-long legacy High Line Canal in partnership with the public. As one of the nation’s longest and most cherished urban trails, the Canal not only connects various communities and people to nature, but serves as an important ecological corridor. It is home to a vast array of species of flora and fauna ranging from beautiful and iconic cottonwood trees to playful foxes.

Join the Conservancy and your community in making a meaningful difference as we enhance the Canal through a series of community cleanups along the 71-mile corridor. All of our events are family friendly and provide a valuable experience and opportunity to learn more about the High Line Canal.
